One of the best Post Rock albums of the last decade!
This album is a breathtaking journey all the way through, and is a pretty big tearjerker due to its subject matter.
Long live Post Rock and instrumental music!
Roaring and rumbling slowly mass of heavy music that rewards you splendidly if you give your undivided attention to it. Layers of intriguing instruments slowly merging with each other, then dissolving away just to blend and intermingle again creating various palpable tone structures. Like massive superorganisms making love on unknown planet. Stunning work of art. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
We have a playlist at home that has a couple of Albums from 'We Lost The Sea' and 'Dumbsaint' plus and album each from 'Alcest' and 'BRUIT<'... its a playlist which now has this album added to it, and it sits so well. Like the pre-mentioned this album has this build up, a desire...a pulse that builds and builds. Absolutely love it. glennandjo
