Saving_ryans I have never, ever been more impressed with a creative change of a band. Old kokomo was great; this change is so vastly different but I find it suits. Well done. I know it’s a few years old, but its my album of 2019 so far.

Vurd In my oppinion, this album is a big step forward for Kokomo, whose dream-like spheres, created by immense creativity, I always admired as one of the most thoughtful kinds of music, the german post scene has to offer.
I'm seriously glad, Kokomo tried differently new paths and experience great and well earned success with it.
This is one of my few top albums for 2016. Great work! I stopped counting how often this one made me shiver in brightest warmth, now. Favorite track: Licht/Staub.

Pan Heavy post-rock that suits a ton of mood. Lovely. Favorite track: Monochrome Noise Love.

Chase Bradburn This is one of the greatest albums I've heard in a long time. There are post-rock bands and then there are bands like this who bring more than just textural guitars and build-ups, but intellect, darkness, and balls in every song. Favorite track: Jüngling Mit Apfel.
Jeff Keating

Jeff Keating Beautiful yet haunting. This will surely be one of the top Post-Rock albums of 2016. Amazing from the first song through the entire album! Favorite track: Deathmaster Danger Dance.

about

Monochrome Noise Love was on 12.02.2016 via i.corrupt.records, dunk!records and Aloud Music Ltd.
The album will come as a double-12” on coloured vinyl in a valuable sleeve with cutaway and as 6-page digipak.

Monochrome Noise Love is our fourth album, the first one we wrote and recorded as a five-piece and the complete opposite of a concept album.
You will face a new discovered lightness and ten new songs that each stand for itself – although we had the plan of writing a concept album in the beginning.

In the course of time it got more and more clear, that we will take all the time and freedom we need for this album. Every song arouses the need to try something new, incorporate new thing or write something we always wanted to and to slip in instruments that were needed to make our music complete.

Monochrome Noise Love is darker and more sophisticated than our previous albums. But: Monochrome Noise Love sounds like Kokomo – it is authentic, imperfect, fragile and loud.
